This detoxifying combo gets a refreshing boost from the mint, making greens go down oh-so-smoothly

Ingredients

  • 2 handfuls spinach
  • 1 cucumber (or celery, if you’re cucumber-averse)
  • 1 apple
  • 1/2 lemon or limes
  • Handful of mint leaves

Instructions

  1. Wash and prepare all ingredients. Thoroughly wash the spinach, cucumber/celery, apple, lemon, and mint leaves.
  2. Chop the apple and lemon into smaller pieces. This will help your juicer process them easier.
  3. Feed the ingredients into your juicer. Start with the tougher greens, followed by the softer apple and lemon pieces. Finish with the mint leaves.
  4. Strain the juice, if desired. If you prefer a smoother consistency, strain the juice through a fine-mesh sieve to remove any pulp.
  5. Serve immediately. Pour the fresh juice into a glass and enjoy!

Tips:

  • Adjust the amount of ingredients to suit your taste preference.
  • Start with less lemon juice and add more to taste for tartness.
  • Adding ice cubes to the juicer can create a chilled and refreshing drink.
  • This recipe is best enjoyed fresh, but you can store leftover juice in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
