Ingredients

  • 1 pre-made pie crust (thawed.)
  • 1 1/2 lbs ground turkey or beef
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 tbsp avocado oil
  • 1 can of creamed corn
  • 1 tbsp Mrs. Dash seasoning
  • 1 tbsp ranch seasoning
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1 pkg instant mashed potatoes
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1/2 cup cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp Salt & Pepper to Taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°
  2. Pre-cook pie crust in oven for about 8 minutes in glass pie
  3. Make ground turkey filling: Add avocado oil to skillet on low to medium heat, add onion to skillet, cook until onions are soft, and add in ground Cook until no more pink can be seen in meat. Add Mrs. Dash Seasoning to taste (about 1 tablespoons)
  4. Add 1 cup of frozen mixed vegetables to skillet and let veggies cook for about 3-4 minutes.
  5. While the meat is cooking and the pie crust is in the oven – make the instant potatoes, add 1 tablespoon of Ranch Seasoning into mashed Potatoes and 3 tablespoons of butter.
  6. Remove pie crust from the oven, and place the turkey mixture on the bottom of the pie crust.
  7. Pour the can of creamed corn over the mixture then add the mashed potatoes on top as the last layer.
  8. Finally, cover with shredded cheddar cheese, I don’t measure but probably close to 1/2 cup.
